Preeti Atwal

Preeti is the owner and a classroom teacher with Absorbent Minds Montessori. After working as a Montessori teacher at Burnaby Montessori for 13 years, she purchased the school from Faye Balcaen. Preeti graduated from the Montessori diploma program in 2001 and the Early Childhood Education diploma program in 2002.

She is dedicated to keeping the school program enriched with new Montessori material and continues to grow and learn through professional development. Preeti is very passionate about working with young children, as she believes this is when the child builds his/her educational foundation and strives for independence and self-mastery.
